On April 22, the world celebrates Earth Day. We've been celebrating this day since 1970, and it's a day we should always remember and celebrate. Although this year we still cannot go out as much as we did before COVID touched our lives, we can help in different ways.
Ready to help the planet! Let's do it together.
Why Save Planet Earth?
Right there where you are, imagine a bird singing, a butterfly flapping its wings, the relaxing sound of ocean waves or a cascade, a beautiful sunset, the fresh smell of a forest, a mountain range... Did you smile? Now, more than ever, we may be appreciating everything a bit more than we did before.
Our planet gives us air to breathe, food to eat, water to drink, and beautiful sceneries to contemplate. It's where we live, it's where we grow. So we better give it some love.

5 Ways to Celebrate Earth Day
Restoring planet Earth is something that needs the contribution of each and every single one of us. That's why this year's topic is "Restore our Earth".
Today we're sharing 5 things you can do to celebrate Earth Day this year:
1. Donate.
One way to contribute is by donating to organizations that are taking action and helping the planet.
- Rainforest Alliance: Dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and the promotion of environmentally sustainable practices.
- Ocean Conservancy: Has been helping clean the oceans for more than 30 years with volunteers from all across the world.
- Save the Earth Foundation: Was established in 1972. One of its activities is to support global initiatives such as ocean plastic removal, the development of sustainable cigarette filters, and others such as funding the development of alternatives to single-use plastics.
You'll also find lots of organizations locally that you can support.

2. Join an online event.
3. Take a cold shower.
4. Cook at home.
Other actions you can take to reduce the use of single-use plastic are simple things like using a tote bag when going grocery shopping or buying biodegradable bags for your trash.
5. Replace old appliances with energy efficient ones.
Energy Star means energy efficient, and energy efficiency saves the Planet. Why? Because it saves energy sources and helps in avoiding pollution.
Besides that, it also helps you pinch pennies where it counts: your utility bill. Now you are not only a savvy shopper but a green one as well!
Protecting the planet starts with all of us. This Earth Day and every day, we’re proud to partner with Energy Star to do our part. Together, we can create a more sustainable future. TOSOT Direct distributes Energy Star rated dehumidifiers, window air conditioners, and air purifiers.
Now that you have this information, let us know in the comments how you'll be celebrating this Earth Day.
