Quality unit

I'm very happy with the unit and I would recommend it. But I'm not able to get good heat under 28% and please be careful when you torque it down, I made mistake by over torquing. But I was able to take care of the problem. It is a good purchase

Very happy

Remodeled our fifth wheel and decided to update the AC. We couldn't be happier with this unit even on turbo it's half as loud as our old unit. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a RV AC. It's quite cold. Warm on heat and the dehumidifier option has proved to be very useful during 5days of rain. I can't say enough about this unit will be getting another unit for the front bedroom next spring

Absolute Lifesaver for My Winnebago Revel sprinter

Finally had a chance to install this. at first I was thinking I would need to take it in somewhere to have it installed but turns out I was able to get it up there and installed with some help from a friend. We spend a ton of time traveling and living in our RV for long stretches of time, so having a reliable and efficient AC is crucial. The unit has really changed how we sleep with how quiet it is. I��m not exactly a DIY expert, but the installation was surprisingly straightforward. The unit came with clear instructions and all the necessary hardware for whichever roof thickness. I managed to get it up and running in about two hours. The instructions were super clear and made the whole process a easy enough. Performance: This AC is a brute. Even on the hottest days, it does cools down our RV quickly. The 15k btu I thought would be too much but is perfect, and there are no more hot spots like we had with our old unit. The adjustable vents are great for directing the airflow exactly where we need it, or you can set it on a sweep mode which is pretty cool. I kinda find it calming really One of my biggest pet peeves with rthe ususal RV AC units like the old coleman we had is the noise, but this one is impressively quiet. I used my phone at waist level about an arms length away from control panel to get 48DB on low. Whether we��re hanging out during the day or trying to sleep at night, it operates at a low enough noise level thatthat we can actually talk or THINK. It��s such a relief to have a quiet, peaceful environment, especially at night. This AC is also energy-efficient, which is a big deal for us. We noticed a drop in our energy consumption compared to our old unit, which means we can save some juice..we run on batteries so it matters Not that it's a huge deal or anything.. but the unit looks sleek and modern, fitting nicely with our RV��s interior/exterior. It feels sturdy and well-built, giving me confidence that it will last a long time. The remote control is a nice touch, making it easy to adjust the settings from the front without having to get up and mess with it. Overall, It��s made a huge difference in our comfort while on the road. fantastic investment. I highly recommend it now after putting it through some 100+ degree tests. It��s worth every penny and has made many aspects of teh RV so much more enjoyable.

Best on the market

I absolutely am thrilled to find a company that cares enough to have a metal pan which is integral for the lifespan of these units and a reversing valve for Texas residents can cut costs on LP dramatically in the winter. After 7 years as an RV tech this is definitely the quietest AC I have ever put in. Shipping was a little rough however the extra styrofoam, metal pan and reinforced plastic on the AC shroud definitely saved this unit from being returned from poor handling in shipping.

Really Great RV Air Conditioner

Very well designed and well made. Extremely quiet. I really appreciated the installation pdf on the website. I had questions before I purchased and received answers each time within 24 hours. Cools and heats! Very straight forward installation. I replaced a ducted unit, so I taped off the ducts. I had to purchase longer bolts as my roof is 4.5". Great value for your money.

I'm replacing the units on my 2007 35 foot Fleetwood Bounder. Will these unit easily fit. Would I be able to tie them into my existing thermostat? How many year warranty do they come with? Any price break if I were to purchase two units. Do all the items show come with the units?

Your present RV should have standard 14 inch openings for the air conditioner. The Tosot 15,000 BTU air conditioner would fit that opening and will work if you don't have a ducted system currently. If you have small (around 3 to 4 inch vents in the ceiling, you have a non-ducted unit. The Tosot RV air conditioner only works as a non-ducted unit. It will not work with your existing thermostat because it has it's own thermostat in the unit that is controlled with a remote control (included) or with a Bluetooth cell phone app. Tosot has offered a discount for two or more units, but you would need to check with them for current offerings. The units come with a two (2) year warranty.

The Tosot RV air conditioner 15000 BTU, Non-Ducted Camper Rooftop AC Unit with Heat Pump is Ductless. They do not make a ducted unit. I believe that Tosot and Gree are both made by the same manufacturer. Each unit appears to be exactly the same. I got my best price by buying directly from Tosot.

HI, I use a Bluetti Solar generator with 2,400W AC Output / 3,600W Power Lifting Mode Capacity: 2,048Wh. DO I need a soft start? My Dometic Fresh Start needed one.

Hello Question for SKU: TST-RV-GC15K-BK How is this unit powered? I have a unit on the top of our camper van that I’d like to replace as it is under powered. The unit I have hooks up to my van battery. The battery is a larger battery. CCA 900 / RC 160. I appreciate the info or any recommendations. DT

The unit I installed is AC powered. I suppose you could run off DC with an inverter, but would need a lot of amp hours in battery for much duration

It will replace any A/C than has a 14" X 14" opening and 120V power. If you have ducting, just tape it off. If your ceiling is more than 5" thick, you may have to purchase longer bolts.

Yes this will replace any existing RV AC however the control board and thermostat will not be the same and this is designed for a ductless system as the fan motor is not strong enough to push air through a fully ducted system
