HVAC for an extension

Have an unheated addition that we bought the Tosot 12,000 BTU 230v for. Installed in less than a day. Works great. Now my son wants to sleep there.

Great Product, Great Price

It was my first time installing a Mini-Split. I must say it was easier than I thought. The only issue I DO NOT like with ANY mini-Split units is the fact that we have to Vacuum the lines. It is an additional purchase of a vacuum pump that you'll probably never use again unless you start installing Mini-Splits as a hobby or full time job. There should be a feature or connector that keeps the lines vacuumed until connected to the outdoor unit. Overall the installation was smooth, flawless. Another issue is the supplied drain line was too short. I had to Improvise and find another hose to continue it down to a suitable draining area. I am handy with the Electrical so wiring up the unit was a breeze. The tape included with the unit needs some work. it is not adhesive at all so you are wrapping the lines in hopes the tape covers everything. I instead opted to use an aqua-seal duct tape that is weatherproof and water resistant for the lines and signal cable. Love the price of the unit. there are discounts if you look around and even YouTube installers provide discounts. Great product, Ultra quiet! I would purchase again but not a 230V unit. Next time ill go 120V as I had to sacrifice space in my old small breaker panel to fit a double pole breaker for 230V.

5 stars but one improvement.

For the price, this unit was absolutely great. Installation went smoothly. I only have one complaint. When scheduling in the app you are forced to use Celsius in my Fahrenheit world. I have adapted, but it is a minor inconvenience.

Easy installation for a DIY

I saw this reviewed on a YouTube video and the reviews elsewhere seems solid for this brand. I ordered this and read the instructions thoroughly. I'm a pretty handy DIYer. Have never done an HVAC install before. This went significantly easier than I thought. Just read the instructions thoroughly and match the wires. I highly recommend this brand and the customer service
