You might be one of those (weird) people who likes the smell of a damp basement. That’s fine, but as humidity levels approach 60% it makes the environment more friendly to mold, mildew and other allergens. By pulling moisture out of your dingy basement you can create a comfortable and safe environment for your family.
Whisper Quiet Operation
You don’t always see it… but that’s the point. A peak sound level of 52 decibels means you’ll hardly notice it’s there. Comparatively speaking, 50 decibels is about as loud as a secluded suburban street or a quiet conversation at home.
Using the Drain Hose
If emptying drain buckets is not your thing, you can connect a 3/4 inch female threaded garden hose to your unit to utilize the gravity-fed continuous drainage mode. Some customers have found that plumber's tape helps prevent a leaky drain hose.
Power Outage Restart
In the event of a power outage your unit will resume operation once full power is restored to your home. The dehumidifier will revert to the same settings that were running before the unit lost power, so you don't need to change a thing. No worries!

I had 2 old LG dehumidifiers (50 Pint each) for over 10 years in my 2 rooms Finished basement (700 SF) one in each room and I used to run both units in Summer to keep the basement nice and dry. This summer both units stoped working I decided to try different brand and I came across TOSOT I ordered one unit only to try it. And I can tell you that this unit made both rooms nice and dry in no time. I don't have to buy another unit it is quit and I am very happy with this TOSOT.
Bought this slightly damaged from Amazon Warehouse and save about $70. This LED digital unit works like a champ in our 2,500 sq foot basement. Even on high the unit is virtually silent and the hose attachment was super easy allowing for 24/7 operation.
I have been only using this for about 2 weeks now and it's worked great for me so far. I had a Sanidry dehumidifier before this one I paid 1800 dollars for that thing and only got 3 years out of it, the Tosot makes far less noise and a lot smaller than the other one and does just as good of a job and for a lot less money. With any of these dehumidifiers only, time will tell how long they last?
The first unit we received had a large crack in it, but that was the fault of the UPS driver who apparently just threw it on the porch as the box was damaged as well. We re-ordered and have had our new unit working for the past few weeks. The pipes in the basement typically produce A LOT of dripping water due to the hot temps outside and the air conditioner working so hard inside. But since we've installed the unit, we've had no moisture whatsoever. I'm very pleased with it.
