Q: Can I install it by myself?

A: Yes. It’s easy to install. Simply assemble the strainer, barbed adapters, fittings, water pipes (not included in the package), and clamps according to the instructions, and then secure the pump to a stable location.

 

Q: Can it be mounted both vertically and horizontally?

A: Yes. The pump may be mounted in any position. If mounted vertically, the pump head should be in the down position to avoid leakage into the motor casing in the event of a malfunction.

 

Q: Can it run dry without damage?

A: Yes. The water pump features dry-run protection. Short-term dry running will not damage the pump.

 

Q: Can I run it from a cigarette lighter?

A: Model WP-45A can only be powered by AC 120V / 60Hz sockets. Models WP-45D and WP-34D can be powered by any 12V battery or car cigarette lighter socket.

 

Q: Can it handle hot water applications?

A: The water pump can handle water temperatures ranging from 32 to 140°F.

 

Q: Is it suitable for drinking water systems?

A: Yes. The internal diaphragm is made of materials suitable for drinking water contact.
